La norma cubre v\u00e1lvulas de compuerta compactas de acero al carbono con extremo roscado, extremo soldado a casquillo, extremo soldado a tope y extremo bridado en tama\u00f1os de NPS4 y menores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">API 609<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>V\u00e1lvulas de Mariposa: Doble Brida, Tipo Lug y Tipo Wafer. La norma cubre el dise\u00f1o, los materiales, las dimensiones entre caras, los \u00edndices de presi\u00f3n y temperatura, y los requisitos de examen, inspecci\u00f3n y prueba para v\u00e1lvulas de mariposa de hierro gris, hierro d\u00factil, bronce, acero, aleaciones a base de n\u00edquel o aleaciones especiales que proporcionan cierre herm\u00e9tico en la posici\u00f3n cerrada y son adecuados para la regulaci\u00f3n del flujo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">API 594<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>V\u00e1lvulas de Retenci\u00f3n: Bridadas, Lug, Tipo Wafer y Soldadas a Tope. La norma API 594 cubre dise\u00f1o, material, dimensiones entre caras, clasificaciones de presi\u00f3n y temperatura, y requisitos de examen, inspecci\u00f3n y prueba para dos tipos de v\u00e1lvulas de retenci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">API 598<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Para la inspecci\u00f3n y prueba de v\u00e1lvulas, la norma cubre los requisitos de inspecci\u00f3n, examen complementario y prueba de presi\u00f3n para v\u00e1lvulas de compuerta, v\u00e1lvulas de globo, v\u00e1lvulas de macho, v\u00e1lvulas de bola, v\u00e1lvulas de retenci\u00f3n y v\u00e1lvulas de mariposa con asiento el\u00e1stico y con asiento de metal a metal, pertenecientes a inspecci\u00f3n por parte del comprador y a cualquier examen complementario que el comprador pueda requerir en la planta del fabricante de la v\u00e1lvula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">API 607<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Prueba de fuego para v\u00e1lvulas de cuarto de vuelta de asiento blando, la norma cubre los requisitos para probar y evaluar el rendimiento de v\u00e1lvulas de cuarto de vuelta de asiento blando y de paso recto cuando las v\u00e1lvulas est\u00e1n expuestas a ciertas condiciones de incendio definidas en esta norma.
