La configuraci\u00f3n de labio\/silla elevada para control de flujo limitado es ideal y tiene fugas de forma segura gracias a la cubierta sobre el diafragma y el actuador. Este dise\u00f1o es adecuado para gases y l\u00edquidos nocivos o corrosivos, ya que esta cubierta protege cualquier rotura de la membrana. Cuando la v\u00e1lvula de paso directo est\u00e1 abierta, para obtener el m\u00e1ximo flujo aerodin\u00e1mico en cualquier direcci\u00f3n, el diafragma se eleva. Cuando la v\u00e1lvula est\u00e1 cerrada, incluso con material grueso o fibroso en la l\u00ednea, el diafragma sella herm\u00e9ticamente para un sellado positivo. Permite la limpieza con cepillo de bolas, sin abrir ni retirar la v\u00e1lvula de la l\u00ednea, ya sea con vapor o soda c\u00e1ustica. Tambi\u00e9n son adecuados para reg\u00edmenes de flujo bidireccional ya que no hay asiento para evitar la transici\u00f3n repentina de la entrada a la salida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-03dcf478 gb-headline-text\">Funci\u00f3n de la v\u00e1lvula de diafragma<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El diafragma est\u00e1 conectado a un compresor mediante un perno moldeado en el diafragma. Para iniciar o aumentar el flujo, el v\u00e1stago de la v\u00e1lvula mueve el compresor hacia arriba. Para detener o disminuir el flujo, se baja el compresor y se presiona el diafragma contra la parte inferior de la v\u00e1lvula. Las v\u00e1lvulas de diafragma son excelentes para controlar el flujo de fluidos que contienen s\u00f3lidos suspendidos y ofrecen la flexibilidad de instalarse en cualquier posici\u00f3n. Las v\u00e1lvulas de diafragma tipo vertedero son mejores para estrangular que las v\u00e1lvulas de diafragma rectas porque la gran \u00e1rea de cierre del dise\u00f1o a lo largo del asiento le da las caracter\u00edsticas de una v\u00e1lvula de apertura r\u00e1pida. El diafragma act\u00faa como junta de la v\u00e1lvula para sellar contra fugas entre el cuerpo y la tapa del cap\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las v\u00e1lvulas de diafragma utilizan un cuerpo de v\u00e1lvula con revestimiento resistente a la corrosi\u00f3n y un diafragma resistente a la corrosi\u00f3n para reemplazar los componentes del obturador de la v\u00e1lvula y controlan el medio moviendo el diafragma. La elecci\u00f3n del material se basa en la naturaleza del material manipulado, la temperatura, la presi\u00f3n y la frecuencia de operaci\u00f3n. Los materiales elastom\u00e9ricos del diafragma son altamente resistentes a los productos qu\u00edmicos a altas temperaturas. Sin embargo, las propiedades mec\u00e1nicas de los materiales elastom\u00e9ricos se debilitar\u00e1n a temperaturas m\u00e1s altas (por encima de 150 \u00b0F). Also, the sloped body makes this valve inherently self-draining, but this draining can happen in both valve directions which may not be optimal for some applications. The weir-type valve is mostly specified for clean, homogenous fluids, as viscous slurries and sediments may build up on either side of the saddle.
