Habituellement, le diam\u00e8tre du si\u00e8ge de vanne est le diam\u00e8tre de d\u00e9bit maximum de la vanne. Il pr\u00e9sente \u00e9galement une bonne r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la compression, \u00e0 l\u2019abrasion et \u00e0 la traction. Ce mat\u00e9riau fonctionne extr\u00eamement bien dans les zones de traitement o\u00f9 sont pr\u00e9sents des mat\u00e9riaux \u00e0 base de paraffine, des acides gras, des huiles, des alcools ou de la glyc\u00e9rine, car il n&#039;est absolument pas affect\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Buna-N ne doit pas \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de solvants hautement polaires (ac\u00e9tones, c\u00e9tones), d&#039;hydrocarbures chlor\u00e9s, d&#039;ozone ou d&#039;hydrocarbures nitr\u00e9s. La plage de temp\u00e9rature est de 107\u00b0C maximum. Hycar est de couleur noire et ne doit pas \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 l\u00e0 o\u00f9 la d\u00e9coloration ne peut \u00eatre tol\u00e9r\u00e9e. Il est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un n\u00e9opr\u00e8ne de remplacement comparable. Les principales diff\u00e9rences sont les suivantes\u00a0: le Buna-N a une limite de temp\u00e9rature plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e\u00a0; le n\u00e9opr\u00e8ne est plus r\u00e9sistant aux huiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TFE REMPLI DE CARBONE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le TFE charg\u00e9 en carbone est un excellent mat\u00e9riau de si\u00e8ge pour les applications de vapeur ainsi que pour les fluides thermiques \u00e0 haute efficacit\u00e9 \u00e0 base d&#039;huile. Les charges comprenant du graphite permettent \u00e0 ce mat\u00e9riau de si\u00e8ge d&#039;avoir une meilleure dur\u00e9e de vie que les autres si\u00e8ges en TFE remplis ou renforc\u00e9s. La plage de temp\u00e9rature est de -29\u00b0C \u00e0 260\u00b0C. La r\u00e9sistance chimique est \u00e9gale \u00e0 celle des autres si\u00e8ges TFE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DELRIN\u00ae<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delrin est la marque d\u00e9pos\u00e9e de DuPont pour le polyoxy-m\u00e9thyl\u00e8ne. Il peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre connu sous les noms de Hostaform, Celecon, Kepital, Duracon, Lupital ou Ultraform. Le Delrin est un mat\u00e9riau tr\u00e8s rigide et ne subit pas d&#039;\u00e9coulement \u00e0 froid. Il pr\u00e9sente une excellente combinaison de r\u00e9sistance, de duret\u00e9, de rigidit\u00e9, de stabilit\u00e9, de r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l\u2019abrasion et de faible frottement. Le Delrin a une r\u00e9sistance \u00e9lev\u00e9e \u00e0 la chaleur et une faible absorption d&#039;eau, mais est sensible aux acides. Lorsqu&#039;il est utilis\u00e9 comme mat\u00e9riau d&#039;\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9, le Delrin est acceptable pour des pressions allant jusqu&#039;\u00e0 5 000 PSI. Son enveloppe de temp\u00e9rature de fonctionnement est de -70 \u00baF \u00e0 180 \u00baF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EPDM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#039;EPDM est un \u00e9lastom\u00e8re terpolym\u00e8re fabriqu\u00e9 \u00e0 partir de monom\u00e8re \u00e9thyl\u00e8ne-propyl\u00e8ne di\u00e8ne. L&#039;EPDM a une bonne r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l&#039;abrasion et \u00e0 la d\u00e9chirure et offre une excellente r\u00e9sistance chimique \u00e0 une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 d&#039;acides et d&#039;alcalis. Il est sensible aux attaques des huiles et n\u2019est pas recommand\u00e9 pour les applications impliquant des huiles de p\u00e9trole, des acides forts ou des alcalins forts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce mat\u00e9riau ne doit pas \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 sur les conduites d&#039;air comprim\u00e9. Il pr\u00e9sente une r\u00e9sistance exceptionnelle au vieillissement climatique et \u00e0 l\u2019ozone. La temp\u00e9rature nominale est de -29\u00b0C \u00e0 107\u00b0C (service intermittent \u00e0 121\u00b0C). C&#039;est assez bon pour les c\u00e9tones et les alcools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HYPALON\u00ae<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#039;Hypalon pr\u00e9sente une tr\u00e8s bonne r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l&#039;oxydation, \u00e0 l&#039;ozone et une bonne tenue aux flammes. Il est similaire au n\u00e9opr\u00e8ne, sauf avec une r\u00e9sistance am\u00e9lior\u00e9e aux acides o\u00f9 il r\u00e9sistera aux acides oxydants tels que l&#039;acide nitrique, fluorhydrique et sulfurique. La r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l\u2019abrasion de l\u2019Hypalon est excellente, \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s \u00e9quivalente \u00e0 celle des nitriles. La r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l\u2019huile et aux solvants se situe quelque peu entre celle du n\u00e9opr\u00e8ne et des nitriles. Les sels ont peu ou pas d\u2019effet sur Hypalon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hypalon n&#039;est pas recommand\u00e9 pour l&#039;exposition aux acides oxydants concentr\u00e9s, aux esters, aux c\u00e9tones, aux hydrocarbures chlor\u00e9s, aromatiques et nitro. Ne pas utiliser en service vapeur. La temp\u00e9rature nominale est de -18\u00b0C \u00e0 104\u00b0C. Les si\u00e8ges sont blancs de qualit\u00e9 alimentaire et peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s sur des aliments<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>N\u00c9OPR\u00c8NE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le n\u00e9opr\u00e8ne est un polym\u00e8re polyvalent dot\u00e9 de nombreuses caract\u00e9ristiques souhaitables. Le n\u00e9opr\u00e8ne pr\u00e9sente une grande r\u00e9silience avec une faible r\u00e9sistance aux flammes et une r\u00e9sistance aux huiles animales et v\u00e9g\u00e9tales. Il est principalement recommand\u00e9 pour une utilisation dans les applications de p\u00e2tes et papiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>G\u00e9n\u00e9ralement, le n\u00e9opr\u00e8ne est d\u00e9conseill\u00e9 et est attaqu\u00e9 par les acides oxydants forts, la plupart des solvants chlor\u00e9s, les esters, les c\u00e9tones, les hydrocarbures aromatiques et les \ufb02uides hydrauliques. Le n\u00e9opr\u00e8ne n&#039;est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement pas affect\u00e9 par les produits chimiques mod\u00e9r\u00e9s, les graisses et de nombreuses huiles et solvants. La temp\u00e9rature nominale est de -29\u00b0C \u00e0 82\u00b0C. Les si\u00e8ges sont de couleur noire et ne doivent pas \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s sur des lignes de papier blanchi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PEEK (Poly\u00e9ther\u00e9therc\u00e9tone)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le PEEK est un thermoplastique semi-rigide non poreux de haute performance offrant une excellente r\u00e9sistance aux produits chimiques agressifs. Virgin PEEK est naturellement r\u00e9sistant \u00e0 l\u2019abrasion. Il poss\u00e8de une excellente r\u00e9sistance m\u00e9canique, une stabilit\u00e9 dimensionnelle et convient \u00e0 une utilisation dans des environnements \u00e0 haute temp\u00e9rature et \u00e0 forte corrosion. Le PEEK est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un mat\u00e9riau de si\u00e8ge de vanne de qualit\u00e9 sup\u00e9rieure car il n&#039;est pas affect\u00e9 par une exposition continue \u00e0 l&#039;eau chaude et \u00e0 la vapeur. Son enveloppe de temp\u00e9rature de fonctionnement est de -70 \u00baF \u00e0 600 \u00baF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PTFE (TFE de Te\ufb02on\u00ae)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le PTFE est le plastique le plus r\u00e9sistant chimiquement. Il poss\u00e8de \u00e9galement d\u2019excellentes propri\u00e9t\u00e9s d\u2019isolation thermique et \u00e9lectrique. Les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques du PTFE sont faibles par rapport \u00e0 d&#039;autres plastiques techniques, mais ses propri\u00e9t\u00e9s restent \u00e0 des niveaux utiles sur une large plage de temp\u00e9ratures de -40\u00b0C \u00e0 204\u00b0C, selon la marque et l&#039;application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RTFE (TFE renforc\u00e9)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le RTFE est compos\u00e9 d&#039;un pourcentage s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 de charge en fibre de verre pour am\u00e9liorer la solidit\u00e9 et la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l&#039;usure abrasive, \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9coulement \u00e0 froid et \u00e0 la perm\u00e9ation dans les si\u00e8ges moul\u00e9s. Le renforcement permet une application \u00e0 une pression et une temp\u00e9rature plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es que le TFE non charg\u00e9. La plage de temp\u00e9rature typique est de -40\u00b0C \u00e0 232\u00b0C. Le RTFE ne doit pas \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 dans des applications qui attaquent le verre, telles que l&#039;acide fluorhydrique et les produits caustiques puissants et chauds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TFM1600<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le TFM1600 appara\u00eet sur notre liste de joints et si\u00e8ges de vanne car il s&#039;agit d&#039;une version modifi\u00e9e du PTFE qui conserve les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s exceptionnelles de r\u00e9sistance chimique et thermique du PTFE, mais a une viscosit\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9tat fondu nettement inf\u00e9rieure. Le r\u00e9sultat est une r\u00e9duction du flux de froid, de la porosit\u00e9, de la perm\u00e9abilit\u00e9 et du contenu de vides. Les surfaces sont plus lisses et r\u00e9duisent les couples. La plage de service th\u00e9orique du TFM1600 est de -200\u00b0C \u00e0 260\u00b0C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TFM1600+20%GF<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TFM1600+20%GF est une version renforc\u00e9e en fibre de verre du TFM1600. Semblable au RTFE, mais avec l&#039;avantage du TFM1600, la version remplie de verre offre une plus grande r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l&#039;abrasion et am\u00e9liore la stabilit\u00e9 \u00e0 des pressions plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TFM4215<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TFM4215 est un mat\u00e9riau TFM rempli de carbone graphit\u00e9 par \u00e9lecteur. Le carbone ajout\u00e9 am\u00e9liore la stabilit\u00e9 pour des combinaisons de pression et de temp\u00e9rature plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>UHMWPE (poly\u00e9thyl\u00e8ne \u00e0 poids mol\u00e9culaire ultra \u00e9lev\u00e9)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#039;UHMWPE est un mat\u00e9riau durable, r\u00e9sistant \u00e0 l&#039;abrasion et \u00e0 la corrosion. Il est \u00e9galement connu sous le nom de poly\u00e9thyl\u00e8ne haut module (HMPE) ou poly\u00e9thyl\u00e8ne haute performance (HPPE). En outre, il r\u00e9pond aux acceptations de la FDA et de l&#039;USDA pour les \u00e9quipements alimentaires et pharmaceutiques et est performant dans les applications jusqu&#039;\u00e0 180 \u00b0F lorsqu&#039;il est nettoy\u00e9 p\u00e9riodiquement avec de la vapeur vive ou de l&#039;eau bouillante pour st\u00e9riliser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#039;UHMWPE est id\u00e9al pour les services \u00e0 faible rayonnement et r\u00e9pond aux exigences de l&#039;industrie du tabac o\u00f9 le TFE est interdit. Il est tr\u00e8s r\u00e9sistant aux produits chimiques corrosifs, \u00e0 l\u2019exception des acides oxydants et des solvants organiques. Son enveloppe de temp\u00e9rature de fonctionnement est de -70 \u00baF \u00e0 180 \u00baF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>VITON\u00ae (Fluorocarbone, FKM ou FPM)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les \u00e9lastom\u00e8res fluorocarbon\u00e9s sont intrins\u00e8quement compatibles avec un large spectre de produits chimiques. En raison de cette compatibilit\u00e9 chimique \u00e9tendue qui couvre des plages de concentration et de temp\u00e9rature consid\u00e9rables, les \u00e9lastom\u00e8res fluorocarbon\u00e9s sont largement accept\u00e9s comme mat\u00e9riau de construction pour les si\u00e8ges de vannes \u00e0 guillotine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le fluorocarbone peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 dans la plupart des applications impliquant des acides min\u00e9raux, des solutions salines, des hydrocarbures chlor\u00e9s et des huiles de p\u00e9trole. Il est particuli\u00e8rement performant en service d&#039;hydrocarbures. La temp\u00e9rature nominale est de -29\u00b0C \u00e0 149\u00b0C. La couleur est grise, noire ou rouge et peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e sur des lignes de papier blanchi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>VITON ne convient pas au service de vapeur ou d&#039;eau chaude, cependant, sous forme de joint torique, il peut \u00eatre acceptable pour les conduites d&#039;hydrocarbures m\u00e9lang\u00e9es \u00e0 de l&#039;eau chaude selon le type\/la marque. During the closing of the valve, the maximum surge pressure occurs, during which the downstream seat can be forced to intrude into the ball port and the valve can become inoperative. When pressure causes the upstream seat to move against the ball and the ball moves downstream, the pressure simply leaks into the valve body cavity through the relief slots. The upstream seat ring becomes pressure balanced. Downstream sealing prevents seat damage and lowers operating torque while providing full bidirectional capability.
