Lorsque le volant est tourn\u00e9 dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d&#039;une montre, la tige de soupape se d\u00e9place dans le sens inverse et le plan angulaire au bas de la tige de soupape lib\u00e8re la bille du si\u00e8ge de soupape. La tige de soupape continue de se soulever et interagit avec la goupille de guidage dans la rainure filet\u00e9e de la tige de soupape afin que la bille commence \u00e0 tourner sans friction. Jusqu&#039;\u00e0 ce qu&#039;elle atteigne la position compl\u00e8tement ouverte, la tige de valve est lev\u00e9e jusqu&#039;\u00e0 la position limite et la bille tourne jusqu&#039;\u00e0 la position compl\u00e8tement ouverte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">II. When it\u2019s perpendicular, it\u2019s closed. This makes it easy to know if a ball valve is open or closed, just by looking at it. The ball has a hole through the center. This hole faces the flow of water when the valve is open. When the valve is closed, the solid side of the ball faces the flow, effectively blocking the further forward movement of the liquid. Because of this design, ball valves are a type of shut-off valve, meaning they can only be used to stop and start flow; not regulate the flow.\r\n\r\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\r\n\r\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\r\n\r\nBall valves are perhaps the easiest valve to see if they are open or closed. If the handle on top is parallel to the valve, it's open.
