Os filtros Y usam telas perfuradas ou de malha de arame e s\u00e3o instalados vertical ou horizontalmente para proteger bombas, medidores, v\u00e1lvulas de controle, purgadores de vapor, reguladores e outros equipamentos de processo. Este processo de tens\u00e3o mec\u00e2nica \u00e9 poss\u00edvel atrav\u00e9s de um elemento filtrante composto de malha, metal perfurado ou um elemento de tens\u00e3o de arame em cunha. O tipo mais comum de elemento tensor \u00e9 uma tela de arame. Alguns tamb\u00e9m incluem \u201cv\u00e1lvulas de purga que facilitam o processo de limpeza em aplica\u00e7\u00f5es com sopro de sujeira mais substancial. O filtro em si tem um design compacto em forma de Y. O formato em Y tem melhores caracter\u00edsticas de fluxo do que, por exemplo, um filtro em formato de T, porque o fluido flui atrav\u00e9s do filtro com menos mudan\u00e7a de dire\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Finalidade do filtro tipo Y<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A finalidade do filtro y \u00e9 remover part\u00edculas indesejadas de vapor, g\u00e1s ou l\u00edquido usando um elemento de tens\u00e3o normalmente feito de tela de arame. O uso desse processo mec\u00e2nico em tubula\u00e7\u00f5es ajuda a proteger tudo, desde bombas at\u00e9 purgadores de vapor. Os filtros Y \u00e0s vezes s\u00e3o projetados com \u201cv\u00e1lvulas de purga\u201d para facilitar o processo de limpeza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Talvez o maior benef\u00edcio do filtro tipo Y seja sua flexibilidade. Pode ser instalado na posi\u00e7\u00e3o vertical ou horizontal, dependendo da prefer\u00eancia do usu\u00e1rio. deforma\u00e7\u00e3o muito econ\u00f4micas em muitas aplica\u00e7\u00f5es. Onde a quantidade de material a ser removido do fluxo \u00e9 relativamente pequena, resultando em longos intervalos entre as limpezas da tela, a tela do filtro \u00e9 limpa manualmente desligando a linha e removendo a tampa do filtro. Para aplica\u00e7\u00f5es com maior carga de sujeira, os filtros Y podem ser equipados com uma conex\u00e3o \u201csopro\u201d que permite que a tela seja limpa sem remov\u00ea-la do corpo do filtro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Os filtros Y s\u00e3o usados em uma ampla variedade de aplica\u00e7\u00f5es de filtragem de l\u00edquidos para proteger componentes do sistema de processo downstream em muitos setores, incluindo: processamento qu\u00edmico, petr\u00f3leo, gera\u00e7\u00e3o de energia e mar\u00edtimo. Aplica\u00e7\u00f5es de manuseio de \u00e1gua, onde filtros em Y s\u00e3o usados para proteger equipamentos que podem ser danificados ou obstru\u00eddos por areia, cascalho ou outros detritos indesejados, s\u00e3o muito comuns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Embora frequentemente usado em muitos tipos diferentes de aplica\u00e7\u00f5es l\u00edquidas, um filtro em Y \u00e9 considerado o padr\u00e3o para aplica\u00e7\u00f5es de vapor e \u00e9 quase universalmente usado para essas aplica\u00e7\u00f5es. Seu formato compacto e cil\u00edndrico \u00e9 muito resistente e pode suportar altas press\u00f5es. \u00c9, literalmente, um vaso de press\u00e3o. Filtros Y que suportam press\u00f5es de at\u00e9 6.000 psi n\u00e3o s\u00e3o incomuns. \u00c9 claro que, nestes casos, o design do filtro \u00e9 fundamental para que ele possa suportar estas altas press\u00f5es sem medo de falhar. Quando o vapor de alta press\u00e3o est\u00e1 sendo manuseado, surge outro fator complicador: a temperatura. Com press\u00f5es de vapor de 1.500 psi ou superiores, o a\u00e7o carbono padr\u00e3o \u00e0s vezes n\u00e3o \u00e9 adequado porque a temperatura do vapor pode ser de 1.000\u00b0 F ou superior. Nestes casos, o corpo do filtro Y \u00e9 geralmente feito de a\u00e7o cromo-molibd\u00eanio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Al\u00e9m do vapor, os filtros Y s\u00e3o frequentemente usados em aplica\u00e7\u00f5es de ar e g\u00e1s natural. Aqui, novamente, altas press\u00f5es n\u00e3o s\u00e3o incomuns.
