Keystone Butterfly Valve
The Figure 990 butterfly valve has a split, wafer-type body and features a one-piece disc stem and field-replaceable seat. The range of available materials makes these valves suitable for a wide variety of applications.
Features of Keystone Butterfly Valve
- Factory testing of every valve at full rating ensures 100% bubble-tight shut-off.
- Standardized actuator flange for easy operator interchangeability and mount direct to Keystone Range of actuators.
- One-piece wafer-thin disc-stem provides high strength and absolutely positive disc control and gives the very minimum obstruction to flow. Its crevice-free surface makes it ideal for hygienic duty.
- The primary seal formed by the seat/shaft/hub contact exceeds the pressure rating of the valve. The body is totally isolated from the flowing medium.
- The secondary shaft seal is suitable for pressure and the vacuum is self-adjusting.
- A patented dove-tail seat requires no bonding. Makes seat replacement simple and fast. Extra heavy edge section resists tearing.
- Hub seal is provided by preloaded contact between flatted seat surface and rounded polished disc-hub area for positive sealing at all disc positions.
- Molded-in O-ring provides positive flange sealing and eliminates the need for gaskets.
- Heavy duty top bushing absorbs side thrust loads. Self-adjusting sealing for both directions is also suitable for vacuum.
Keystone Wafer Check Valve
The Keystone Figure 86 is a high capacity, spring-loaded wafer style swing check valve designed to prevent backflow in a variety of applications including pump and multi-pump systems.

- Lightweight, wafer-type check valve with face-to-face dimensions according to ISO 5752, table 5 long
- High flow capacity featuring a specially shaped disc with a large opening angle resulting in high Kv values
- Spring loaded disc for positive shut-off
- Choice of cast iron or stainless steel body types
- Field replaceable O-ring seat
- Internal travel stop prevents the disc from slamming against the pipe
- Excellent low-pressure shut-off
- The standard low-pressure shut-off is less than 0.1 bar (10 kPa)
- Slam free operation
- Optional heavy spring for slam-free operation in systems with high decelerations
- Optional light spring for systems with low line velocities
- Optional adjustable travel stop for a system with reduced inner diameter pipe
