While we talking about a triple offset butterfly valve with an actuator operated, we can see descriptions such as ” F10 ” ” F12 ” etc, what does it mean? it’s a kind of flange type, which is a description of the connection dimension that valve top flange and actuator in a certain standard.

What is ISO 5211 Standard?

ISO 5211:2017 specifies requirements for the attachment of part-turn actuators, with or without gearboxes, to industrial valves.

The attachment of part-turn actuators to control valves in accordance with the requirements of this document is subject to an agreement between the supplier and the purchaser.

The standard for the connection of part-turn valves and actuators is the international standard ISO5211 standard. Therefore, ISO5211 is the connection standard for valves and actuators.
