Structure of pneumatic ball valve

The structure of pneumatic ball valve is composed of pneumatic actuator (single and dual action, AW and GT type) and ball valve. After the compressed air enters the cylinder, it pushes the piston to rotate, and then drives the opening and closing of the ball valve through the connecting shaft, so as to achieve the function of cutting off and adjusting the medium. The speed of pneumatic actuator is relatively fast, and workers do not need to do it by themselves, which saves labor cost and time to a large extent.

Pneumatic ball valve is evolved from check valve. It has the same 90 degree rotation lifting action. The difference is that the plug body is a sphere with a circular through hole or passage through its axis. The ratio between the sphere and the channel port should be that when the sphere rotates 90 degrees, the sphere should appear at the inlet and outlet, so as to cut off the flow. This kind of valve can be installed at any position in the pipeline. It has functions of adjustment (with positioner), opening and closing(optional accessories). There are many kinds of ball valves. Type of cylinder

AW type cylinder is cast iron cylinder, which is commonly used for valves with large output torque. GT type cylinder is anodized on the surface, which is resistant to weak acid and alkali. It is commonly used. The pneumatic ball valve can be closed tightly only by the operation of air rotation of 90 degrees and small rotation torque. The completely equal inner cavity of the valve body provides a small resistance and straight passage for the medium. It is generally believed that the ball valve is most suitable for opening and closing directly. However, in recent development, ball valve has been designed for throttling and flow control.

Function form of cylinder:

The single function here refers to the cylinder with spring return. When the air and power are cut off, the valve is reset by the spring in the cylinder to close or open the valve. (normally closed or normally open. It is optional). Dual action means that the cylinder is opened and closed by compressed air.

Application of pneumatic ball valve

Working principle of pneumatic ball valve: make the valve unblocked or blocked by rotating the valve core. Pneumatic ball valve has light switch, small size, and it can be made into a large caliber. It has the advantages of reliable sealing, simple structure and convenient maintenance. Sealing surface and spherical surface are often in closed state, and it is not easy to be eroded by medium, so they are widely used in various industries.

Pneumatic ball valve and plug valve are the same type of valve. Only its closing part is a ball, which rotates around the center line of the valve body to open and close the valve.
